Race, Color, National Origin, and Disability

The California State University complies with the requirements of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as amended by the Americans with Disabilities Act and the regulations adopted thereunder. No person shall, on the basis of race, color, national origin, or disability, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination in any program of the California State University. The California State University does not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its programs and activities. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and the regulations adopted thereunder and the Americans with Disabilities Act prohibit such discrimination. The Director of Student Disability Resources has been designated to coordinate the efforts of CSUMB to comply with these Acts and their implementing regulations. Sex

The California State University does not discriminate on the basis of sex in the educational programs or activities it conducts. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended, and the administrative regulations adopted thereunder prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities operated by CSUMB. Such programs and activities include admission of students and employment. Inquiries concerning the application of Title IX to programs and activities of CSUMB may be referred to the Director of Student Conduct or the Director of Equal Employment Opportunity, the campus officers assigned the administrative responsibility of reviewing such matters or to the Regional Director of the Office of Civil Rights, Region IX, 50 United Nations Plaza, Room 239, San Francisco, California 94102.
